Domaine Opening Party

After over a year of construction I am proud to announce our new kitchen and event space are complete!  This past weekend we threw a celebration to commemorate this momentous occasion.  Friends and family joined us on Saturday for a Great Gatsby Gala.  You can see from the photos that a good time was had by all!  We would like to thank everyone that made it out to celebrate.  We truly appreciate all of the support!

The kitchen team really enjoyed the opportunity to try out new recipes and presentation styles in our new space.  We decided to spread the party into the kitchen to allow for more space to accommodate our ever expanding guest list.  It was great to see that people flowed through the kitchen so easily, as we would like to offer in-kitchen experiences like cooking classes dining experiences.  

We would like to thank our friends at Tenzing and CH Distillery for providing local spirits and top notch wines to make our celebration special.  You can’t throw a good Gatsby party without the proper libations!  We particularly enjoyed the Methuselah of Gosset Champagne from Tenzing Wine and Spirits.  The 6 Liter bottle not only helped decorate the room, but ensured everyone got to enjoy a glass of bubbly.  A special shout out to the owners of Rolling Meadows Brewery in Springfield Illinois for coming up to show their support.  Your beers are fantastic and we can't wait for them to take over Chicago!

The grand opening party was an evening we will never forget, but most importantly it filled the team with confidence about our new space and kitchen.  We finally got to see the room filled and use all of our new toys including the UNOX double stack ovens that have truly changed the game!

Perfect Pairings Event this Friday

This Friday we will be joining the Junior League of Chicago for a fantastic event based around pairing wine with not only food, but also different vendors from around the Chicago area.  Come see Chef Joe and I as we pass out two different appetizers with wine pairings, thanks to our favorite wine purveyor Tenzing Wine and Spirits.  We will be serving a salmon ceviche with a fresh summer rose and a duck rillette with a pinot noir.  Come join us to help this great charity and enjoy a plethora of perfect pairings!
